A mobile oil change starts from €35 (labour). The total depends on oil brand and filter — we quote precisely based on your car's make and model. Call-out inside Riga from €10, outside Riga — by distance.

How long does an oil change at home or work take?

Accepted Answer

A standard oil and oil-filter change usually takes 30–45 minutes. Adding an air or cabin filter brings the full service to 45–60 minutes. You can keep working or resting — the mechanic does everything at your car.

Can you replace brake pads and discs on site?

Accepted Answer

Yes. We replace brake pads and discs in the city, in a yard or in a workplace car park. Front pad replacement takes about 45–60 minutes, pads + discs up to 1.5 h. A mandatory test drive is done afterwards.

How much does on-site brake repair cost in Riga?

Accepted Answer

Brake pad replacement (one axle) €35–45 (labour), discs + pads €50–70. Parts can be supplied by us or the client. A full quote is prepared based on the car model and chosen parts.

We work with nearly all passenger car brands — VW, Audi, Škoda, BMW, Mercedes, Toyota, Honda, Nissan, Ford, Opel, Renault, Peugeot, Citroën, Hyundai, Kia, Mazda and others. An OBD-II diagnostic tool is on every call-out.

Yes. Call-out fees: Riga from €10, Marupe from €10, Jurmala from €15, Kekava from €15, Salaspils from €15, Ogre from €20. On request we also travel to Jelgava, Tukums, Cesis, Valmiera, Liepaja, Ventspils and Daugavpils — there the call-out fee is based on distance and agreed before the trip.

What is computer diagnostics and when is it needed?

Computer diagnostics (OBD-II) reads fault codes from control units — engine, ABS, airbag, gearbox. It's needed when the Check Engine light comes on, the car loses power, or has starting or fuel-use issues. On-site diagnostics from €30.

Can you deliver and fit a battery on site?

Accepted Answer

Yes — we arrive with a new battery matched to your car's spec, install and test it, and dispose of the old one properly. Battery replacement (without the battery cost) — labour from €25. We supply AGM, EFB and standard lead-acid batteries.

When should I replace my brake pads?

Accepted Answer

On average brake pads last 30 000–50 000 km depending on driving style. Signs it's time: squealing while braking, longer pedal travel, steering vibration. A yearly brake check is recommended — we can do it on site for €30.

How often should engine oil be changed?

Accepted Answer

On average every 8 000–10 000 km or once a year — depending on oil type (mineral, semi-synthetic, synthetic) and the manufacturer's recommendation. For short city trips we suggest changing more often. Exact interval confirmed from the service book.

What does a “call-out by distance” mean and how is it calculated?

Accepted Answer

In Riga and the surrounding municipalities the call-out fee is fixed. Everywhere else in Latvia we charge by distance — €0.35 per kilometre round trip from Riga. For example, 60 km one way is 120 km round trip × €0.35 = €42 call-out fee. The labour price stays exactly as listed — distance never changes the repair cost.

When and how do I learn the final call-out fee?

As soon as you give us the exact address, we calculate the distance and send the call-out fee in writing — on WhatsApp or by SMS. We only set off after you confirm it, so the price never changes on the way and there are no surprises on the invoice.

Fixed fees: Riga from €10, Mārupe from €10, Jūrmala from €15, Ķekava from €15, Salaspils from €15, Ogre from €20. We also travel to Jelgava, Tukums, Cēsis, Valmiera, Liepāja, Ventspils, Daugavpils and other places in Latvia by distance — €0.35/km round trip, confirmed before the call-out.

What if I cancel the booking or the mechanic has to wait?

Accepted Answer

You can cancel free of charge while the mechanic has not left yet. If the job is cancelled once the mechanic has already arrived at the given address or while the service is in progress, the agreed travel costs must be paid by bank transfer. If you ask us to wait on site, waiting time is €5 per every 15 minutes. Working hours are agreed individually and payment for completed work is made on site.

Can the mechanic come to my workplace or an apartment block yard?

Accepted Answer

Yes. We work in office car parks, apartment block yards, private driveways and on the roadside. All we need is a safe, level spot of about 3 metres around the car. We bring our own power and tools.

First check the dashboard lights — if they are dim or dead, a flat battery is the most common cause. If the starter cranks but the engine doesn't fire, the fuel pump, ignition or sensors may be at fault. Call 20131252 — we come out, run diagnostics on the spot and in most cases start or repair the car right there.

Yes. Engine oil, oil filter, air filter and cabin filter changes are done at your home, office or parking space. We take the used oil and filters away and dispose of them properly. The job takes 30–60 minutes.

Yes. We also service company and fleet cars — we come to your office car park or base, can handle several cars in one visit and, on request, invoice the company for payment by bank transfer.

Yes. Based on the car make, model and problem description we give an approximate labour price and call-out fee before we set off. The final amount is confirmed on site before work starts — nothing is done without your approval.
